Before you decide to start working with a mortgage broker, you definitely want to make sure they are the right fit. So, I wanted to share a bit more about who I am, and five things you may not know about me:
I love live music. Whether that be a band at a local pub or a concert—I’m in! Extra points for the Foo Fighters.
The first plane I flew in I jumped out of. It was a solo skydive at 5000 feet. I'm a bit more of a calculated risk person now but still love adventure.
I love dogs and volunteered with the Pacific Assistance Dogs Society (PADS) to train seeing eye and hearing dogs. I currently don't have a dog but I'm a great "dog uncle" if you ever need a sitter.
The first time I travelled internationally was to Cuba. It was for national lifeguard training in open water called National Lifeguard Service. I travelled by myself to meet lifeguards from across Canada. I was following my inner Hasllehoff—look at that hair (I did have some!) That's where my love of the Caribbean came from. I'm still good friends with one of the guys I met on the trip … two decades later, I even completed his mortgage. Ha, no lie! I travel to the Caribbean as often as I can.
I love meeting new people It's amazing getting to know them and hearing their stories. I’ve been blessed with friendships that have lasted decades (before voicemail, email, text, and even social media!) I have friends across the globe, and I truly believe friends are your chosen family...cheesy I know.
